Trowers wins Best Thought Leadership Award for Highly Valued, Hard to Value research

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has won the Managing Partners' Forum (MPF) award for Best Thought Leadership for their innovative research and thought leadership campaign Highly Valued, Hard to Value.

The firm's ongoing campaign has proven to be highly effective in starting conversations and for building relationships with a whole range of leaders from across real estate. It has also provided a platform for the firm to lead thinking within the sector on the different aspects of the value that real estate delivers.

The initiative continues through a working group created by Trowers; bringing together high-level industry leaders to define a broader measurement of value in real estate and ultimately be part of creating better developments and thriving communities.

The MPF Awards honour the exceptional achievement in the management of professional service firms, and the firm was commended for 'distilling and communicating ideas that confer business advantage'. The team received the award in a ceremony in Grosvenor Square in London on the 8th March 2017.

Partner and Head of Real Estate, Sara Bailey said:

"Our ambition at Trowers & Hamlins is to help remove the barriers that stand in the way of creating better and more sustainable built environment by looking to enhance current valuation methods, refine planning policy and introduce performance metrics to change how we view a development's true value. We are passionate about having a tangible and positive impact upon the real estate market, and it's fantastic to receive recognition for it. Well done to everybody that worked hard to create this research and continue to develop this campaign.  Thank you in particular to ING Media and Oxford Brookes University who worked with us on this project."

Managing Partners’ Forum Chair, Neville Eisenberg commented: “Now in their 15th year, our Awards uniquely provide professional service firm management teams with independent evidence of their contribution to achieving their firms’ goals in four key business areas: leadership & strategy; operational excellence; the client journey; and responsible business. Demonstrating this contribution puts our members at the heart of strategic conversations, and increases their personal influence and people’s trust in their plans, while strengthening the reputation of their firms to clients.”

As well as winning the Thought Leadership Award, Trowers were also awarded second place in the Best Use of Systems and Technology category for their implementation of a new client relationship management system with the help of industry leading advisors Stanton Allen.
