According to the league table, published in May 2020, Trowers & Hamlins advised housing providers on more capital markets transactions than any other law firm between July 2018 and December 2019. The firm retains its place at the top of the league table, a position it has held continuously since 2015.

Trowers acts for more than 250 housing providers. The firm's Affordable Housing Finance team led by Adrian Carter is easily the largest specialist team in the country and is top-tier ranked in Social Housing Finance in the independently verified legal directories, Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK.  Adrian Carter, Sarah Gooden, Eleanor James and Neil Waller are recognised as leading individuals in Social Housing Finance by the directories. The Real Estate Finance Security Team is led by Katie Dyer and Melanie Comer who are also both highly respected in the sector.
