Join us for a seminar on sector risk with the Regulator of Social Housing in conjunction with DTP.
The event will be held both at Trowers & Hamlins' Manchester office on Thursday 5 December 2024 and at their London office on Wednesday 11 December 2024 with arrival, lunch and an opportunity for networking from 1pm and finishing at 4.30pm.
As risks to viability increase, there is less 'margin for error' in decision making in an environment where there are increasingly difficult decisions to be made by organisations. What are the Regulator's thoughts on the most significant risks? What are the trade-offs that need to be considered? How is financial resilience maintained with competing demands on resources? How will executive teams and boards navigate their organisations through these multivariate risks?
These sessions will provide a fantastic opportunity to consider these questions (and more).
In these sessions attendees will:
- hear from Will Perry, Director of Strategy at the Regulator of Social Housing whose team is responsible for producing the RSH's Sector Risk Profile;
- hear the views of legal and governance experts Richard St John Williams and Natalie Singh at Trowers and Andy Roskell, Managing Director at DTP who together will consider the legal, regulatory and considerations arising from and possible assurance strategies for managing those risks;
- hear insights on the roles to be played by boards, committee and senior leadership teams in managing those risks.
The sessions are aimed at senior executives, board members and chairs of committees of Private RPs (both non-profit and for-profit) and LA RPs. If you would like to attend, please register using the RSVP buttons at the top of the page.
We look forward to seeing you there.
