The government has published the proposed increases to statutory sick pay, maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption pay from April 2022.
The following rates are expected to apply from 11 April 2022:
- Statutory sick pay will rise from £96.35 to £99.35
- Statutory maternity pay and maternity allowance will raise from £151.97 to £156.66
The rates of statutory paternity pay, shared parental pay and adoption pay will also rise in line with the figures for statutory maternity pay and maternity allowance.
