Tim Nye

Tim is Head of Corporate at Trowers & Hamlins and advises on all aspects of private equity including real estate private equity and investment, buy outs, seed investment transactions, divestments and disposals and management incentive packages.

He works with investee companies whilst under private equity ownership advising on, amongst other things, group restructurings, refinancings, strategic sales, bolt on acquisitions and organic growth.

Tim also developed the model "Outsourcing the Company Secretary" by which investee companies take advantage of Trowers & Hamlins' full suite of legal services for ad hoc and day to day matters, allowing the firm to track trends within the organisation and build up a corporate history on behalf of the company and its investors.

In 2020, The Lawyer included Tim in it's annual Hot 100 list of the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers. He is also recognised as a global leader in the Who's Who Legal guide for healthcare 2021 as well as a Notable Practitioner for healthcare (UK-wide) in Chambers & Partners 2019.

"Tim is commercial. He really gets the healthcare space and challenges involved. He gets things done."

Chambers UK 2025

"We have had the benefit of working with a strong team headed by Tim Nye, who is incredibly creative and willing to think outside of the box in order to help us achieve our commercial objectives, often in situations that require navigating complex issues within tight timeframes."

"We rely on Tim Nye for all of our corporate needs. He is always available and attentive, with a real can-do attitude. He is not afraid of thinking outside of the box to come up with creative solutions to often very complex problems and structures."
