In Part 1 of our injunction webinar series we looked at 'newcomer' injunctions, where the Supreme Court has recently set out the law in Wolverhampton City Council and others v London Gypsies and Travellers and others, confirming that injunctions against 'persons unknown' can be obtained on a final, as well as an interim, basis.
Michael Rhode, James Lancaster and Rob Walker have successfully applied for newcomer injunctions in a number of different contexts. During the webinar Michael, James and Rob looked at the concept of 'newcomer' injunctions, the circumstances when they are commonly required (including in the context of planning breaches), when they can be obtained, the practicalities of obtaining and serving injunctions and related strategic considerations.
