Cecilia Busby


Cecilia has been at Trowers & Hamlins since 2019 and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. She advises on a range of contentious property matters.

Cecilia has previous experience in construction and particular expertise in a range of issues related to the Building Safety Act, landlord's certificates and service charge recovery. She also has experience in matters such as trespass, adverse possession, boundary disputes, rights of way and rights of light as well as on a range of commercial landlord and tenant issues, including nuisance, dilapidations, break rights, 1954 Act lease renewals, recovery of rent arrears and property related insolvency matters.

Cecilia also has experience of advising developers on issues affecting commercial and residential development, such as obtaining vacant possession, dealing with easements and restrictive covenants and advising on rights of light.
