International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has acted for Latimer on the delivery of 280-apartment scheme at MediaCityUK.
Developer Glenbrook, working in partnership with Peel L&P, has submitted a planning application to Salford City Council for the scheme.
Designed by architect Sheppard Robson, the project is being delivered on behalf of Latimer, Clarion Housing Group’s development arm.
Trowers acted in connection with the agreement relating to the proposed transfer of the site (by way of a new 250 year lease) to Latimer from Peel following grant of the planning permission for the scheme and a development agreement with Glenbrook for the build.
The £70m development would deliver flats for sale, in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with residents’ facilities, a gym and retail.
Profits from Latimer are reinvested back into Clarion Housing Group and used to build affordable homes, invest in existing social housing and support communities.
Louise Robinson, Trowers & Hamlins partner, said:
"It's great to have been able to facilitate a scheme that is a great example of collaboration. The product will be an attractive development that will undoubtedly be popular with future residents."
