Trowers has advised Berkeley Square Developments on their latest development of 310 Build to Rent (BTR) homes in the Berol Quarter, Tottenham Hale.
The new BTR scheme was delivered by Berkeley Square Developments on behalf of investment manager Long Harbour, and marks the fifth phase of Berkeley Square Developments’ £400 million investment in Tottenham Hale, having now delivered 700 new homes of which 35% are affordable. The development to date also includes 50,000 sq ft of new leisure, retail and commercial units and a series of connected public spaces. Working closely with their construction partner, Formation Design and Build, the scheme was successfully delivered ahead of programme.
Trowers advised on the development funding aspects of the transaction, as well as advising on the recent letting of one of the neighbouring commercial units to independent beer merchants Mother Kelly who will be launching a bar and tap room shortly.
Pete Bond, Senior Associate at Trowers, who led on advising Berkeley Square Developments, said:
“We are extremely pleased to have supported Berkeley Square Developments on this latest project, which has produced quality, purpose-built BTR accommodation and fantastic amenity space for local residents to enjoy.”
Jonathan Carkeet, director of Berkeley Square Developments, commented:
"We are delighted with the efforts of our construction partner and wider team of consultants in helping us to deliver these much needed new homes within Tottenham Hale. We are grateful to Pete and the team at Trowers & Hamlins for their continued support with these projects.”
Trowers advise private, public and third sector organisations on the full BTR lifecycle, including: planning, funding and development stages, through to asset stabilisation, property management and portfolio disposals.
