International law firm, Trowers & Hamlins, has hired experienced lawyer Nikita Patel as a Partner in the firm's International Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. She will sit in the firm's Dubai office.
Nikita has substantial commercial and contractual disputes experience gained from over 10 years practising in the Middle East market, as well as being English qualified. Her practice encompasses advising and acting on complex commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions including UAE, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana. Her sector specialisms include Real Estate, Hospitality and Automotive and she is recommended in Who's Who Legal Hospitality.
Additionally, Nikita has extensive experience in complex, high-value local and international arbitrations, which include those administered by the DIAC, LCIA and the ICC. She also advises clients in relation to proceedings in the UAE Courts (including the DIFC Courts, ADGM Courts and the onshore UAE Courts).
Nikita joins Trowers from the Dubai office of Clyde & Co where she worked since 2014, most recently as a Legal Director.
