Debopam Dutta, Head – India Desk at Trowers & Hamlins, has been named the Cross Border Lawyer of the Year in Banking and Finance at the 2024 Legal Era Global Achievers Awards for the second consecutive year.
The award was presented by two stalwarts of the Indian bar, Gourab Banerjee, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and Janak Dwarkadas, Senior Advocate at the Bombay High Court, during the 13th Annual Legal Era India Conclave in Mumbai. The event was attended by more than 500 global industry experts and thought leaders across around various geographies and sectors over a 3 day conference.
The Global Achievers Awards recognise cross-border lawyers who are experts in local and multi-jurisdictional transactional and advisory work with a focus on the Indian market while having a clear understanding of international standards and best practices.
