International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised the Sovereign Network Group (SNG) on the launch of its £1.5billion Euro Medium Term note (EMTN) programme.

Formed in 2023 through the merger of Sovereign Housing Association and Network Homes, SNG provides over 84,000 homes and invest in communities across the South of England.

Funding from the programme will be allocated in line with SNG's Sustainable Finance Framework, to develop affordable housing across London and the South of England and further demonstrates its commitment to developing 25,000 new homes over the next decade.

Trowers advised SNG on the property charging aspects of the transaction.

The Trowers team was led by Managing Associate, Sarah Cross, who was supported by Chartered Legal Executive, Victoria Dennell.
