How can we help you?

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has announced that partner Jeremy Ingham will be taking over as the firm's International Managing Partner, as of 1 September 2021, replacing Abdul-Haq Mohammed, who will be moving into a new strategic role at the firm, focussed on further developing Trowers' business and client base across South East Asia and the Far East.

Jeremy has been with the firm for 15 years and was originally based in Bahrain where he worked in the Banking & Finance team before moving to the Oman office where he served as Resident Managing Partner for three years before returning to Bahrain in 2017.

Jeremy specialises in all areas of corporate banking work acting for banks and other regulated institutions. His practice spans a wide spectrum of disciplines with a particular focus on debt finance, restructuring, cross border insolvency and investigations. In recent years Jeremy has been highlighted in Chambers and Partners Global for his 'diligence' and for being a 'fantastic lawyer'.

As part of his new role, Jeremy will continue to drive the strategy of the firm's international offices in alignment with firm wide plans and will still be working closely with his clients to achieve their objectives.

Jeremy commented on his new role:

"It is an honour to have been invited to act as Trowers' new International Managing Partner. As part of my new role, I look forward to driving forward the firm's international strategy and I am passionate about ensuring that our clients are central to this.

Trowers has deep rooted connections in the Gulf and we have always prided ourselves on being able to provide our clients with exceptional service, built upon the expertise that we have developed across the region.

The International team is an experienced mix of diverse individuals that all bring something truly unique to the business. My vision for the Trowers international team is to build on the strong foundations that have been set previously and continue to drive forward future growth whilst maintaining our exceptional client offering.

I would like to thank Abdul-Haq for his tremendous contribution in developing the International offices during his tenure and I look forward to continuing to work together on the strategic growth of our business across the wider Asian market."

Senior Partner Sara Bailey commented:

"We welcome Jeremy as our new International Managing Partner. Jeremy has a deep knowledge of the Gulf region and is well placed to lead the international team as they continue to grow as market leaders in their respective regions."
