Trowers & Hamlins has advised a long-standing client via instruction from Morood Investment Company on the refinancing of Merck House with JP Morgan.
Trowers advised on all of the finance and real estate aspects of the refinancing of the impressive commercial property situated near the centre of Poole.
The successful completion involved a collaborative effort from the Trowers & Hamlins Banking & Finance and Real Estate teams, which together negotiated extensive suites of finance and property documents whilst managing the release mechanics of an outgoing facility.
This deal highlights the consistent demand for high-quality prime commercial facilities, in spite of wider market volatility.
The Trowers team comprised of Eddie O'Hanrahan, Samer Almaz, Jonjo Parry (Banking), Yassar Jassani, George Dowson and Sarah Langworthy (Real Estate). Dentons UK and Middle East LLP advised JP Morgan.
Eddie O'Hanrahan:
"We are delighted to have assisted with the successful refinancing of this property, and we extend our sincere appreciation to the Morood team for their collaboration and trust throughout."
Karen Al Bakkar of Morood Investment Company:
"We’d like to thank Trowers & Hamlins for their diligent and professional support throughout the transaction. The teams' efforts, both on the financing and real estate aspects of this deal, were greatly appreciated."
