International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has acted on the 100% sale of Maestra, a leading fabrication partner for luxury brand experiences and large-scale live events, to global leader in event build solutions, Arena Group.
Over the last 11 years, since its incorporation, Maestra has established itself as a premium fabrication partner and grown to have 150 full-time employees and 80,000 square feet of workshop space between the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Maestra is now well-known as a provider of world-class scenic builds for luxury brand experiences and large-scale live events.
The Arena Group specialises in designing, manufacturing, and delivering premium temporary and semi-permanent structures for major events, exhibitions and brand experiences. With operations across the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia, Arena provides bespoke event infrastructure, including seating, staging, and interior fit-outs for the sports, entertainment, and corporate sectors.
Trowers acted on behalf of an individual and a family-run business on the sale of their shares in Maestra and on the involvement of existing personnel in the business following the sale to Arena Group and during the transition phase. The Trowers team was led by Stephen Sullivan, International Corporate Partner based in Abu Dhabi, with support from Senior Associate Ethan Chye and Associate Hannah Chima. This deal follows on from other successful Middle East transactions conducted by Trowers and builds on the team's expertise across various industries including hospitality and entertainment, healthcare, agriculture and information technology.
