Law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised Oryx Real Estate Partners on the acquisition, finance and development of a c.3.2-acre freehold site in Feltham.

The site, which is strategically located between Heathrow Airport and Central London, has been granted permission for the development of a 71,000 sq.ft. logistics park, comprising six premium warehouse units, ranging in size from 8,500 sq.ft. to 15,500 sq.ft. The development is planned to achieve an EPC A+ and BREEAM Outstanding rating, with completion scheduled for Q1 2026.

Working closely with Oryx and their development partner, Pembury Real Estate, Trowers advised on the acquisition of the site (on a subject to planning and vacant possession basis) as well as securing development finance, and negotiating and placing a full suite of consultant appointments and the building contract.

The multi-disciplinary team included, amongst others, Ben Neary, Tom Calnan, Gail White and Ellice Sparks (Real Estate), James Huckstep and Nathan Gessey (Projects and Construction), Chen Ikeogu and Lilli Sutherland (Banking and Finance) and Rory Stracey (Planning and Environmental).

Tom Calnan, client partner for Oryx, commented:

"This strategic acquisition marks an exciting step forward for Oryx as it continues to expand its portfolio in the industrial and logistics sector. We are delighted to have supported Oryx and its development partner, Pembury, on securing the site, and we look forward to seeing the project come to life."
