Law firm Trowers & Hamlins has been shortlisted for the Large Deal of the Year (£25m+) at the inaugural Insider Media UK Dealmakers Awards 2025, having won the Large Deal of the Year (£25m+) at the South West Dealmakers Awards held in Bristol on 27 June 2024.
For the first time, Insider will bring together the leading regional Dealmakers under one roof to crown the ‘Champion of Champions’. Winners will be revealed at a prestigious black tie awards night, hosted at the ICC, Birmingham on 6 February 2025. The gala dinner will celebrate the achievements of the UK's top corporate financiers, accountants, bankers, funders, lawyers and M&A professionals.
The shortlist for the awards is made up solely from the regional winners of the 2024 Dealmakers Awards. From North to South, East to West the National Dealmakers brings together the UK’s finest.
The shortlisted deal is LDC’s exit from Cakesmiths. Corporate Partner, Stuart Mathews, led the UK advice for the Management Team with support from Matt Libby, Corporate Senior Associate. Other advisers on this transaction were Momentum Corporate Finance UGGC Avocats TLT LLP KPMG RSM.
