Megan is an Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Manchester.
Megan is a commercial property litigator who acts for a variety of clients, including large corporates, social landlords, and private individuals, on a broad range of property related disputes.
Megan has particular experience in the retail sector and managing large property portfolios. Megan has also acted on a number of high-profile squatters cases.
Megan specialises in landlord and tenant disputes, providing strategic and complex advice on matters including forfeiture and relief from forfeiture cases, business tenancy renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (contested and uncontested), commercial dilapidations, serving break notices and advising as to complex break conditions, lease interpretation issues, breach of covenant cases, injunctions and recovering rent arrears.
Megan is lead Associate on the majority of her files, whilst also assisting Partners and/or supervising junior members of the team. One of Megan's career highlights is being lead Associate in a reported and successful rent review arbitration challenge in the High Court.
