Eleanor James


Working in the social housing finance sector for over 10 years, Eleanor advises housing providers on all aspects of their loan, hedging and security portfolios. She is often called upon to provide strategic advice in relation to funding and treasury matters connected with mergers and group reorganisations.

Eleanor's practice also includes a wider range of real estate finance transactions supporting sponsors and developers with investment and development projects. She advises on real estate acquisition, inward investment and development finance transactions, corporate acquisitions and intragroup lending.

Eleanor has particular specialism in capital markets issues for social housing providers, acting on listed bond issues, and US and UK private placements.

She writes regularly for Social Housing Magazine.
