Guy Willetts
Guy Willetts is a partner in Trowers & Hamlins' Property Litigation department which he joined in 2012, after having spent 11 years as a Partner setting up and running the Property Litigation practice of a national law firm. Before that, he spent 13 years as a property litigation specialist in large City of London Law Firms.
Guy has therefore spent 30 years resolving property disputes, acting for occupiers of all types of commercial property (including shops, offices, warehouses, and industrial buildings), investors and developers. Although he has been involved in a few landmark cases and does not shy away from litigation if that is the best way to achieve a desired outcome, his emphasis is on getting the right result in the most cost-effective manner. This may involve any of a number of ways of resolving disputes, including self-help remedies, mediation, arbitration or expert determination, with the Courts as a last resort.
Guy is an Associate of the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies. He has been recognised by Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession for his expertise in Property Litigation
