The second session in our inclusivity month was on ageing workforce with guest speakers Matt Smith, Sales Director Silverson Machines Ltd and Rachel Credidio, Group People and Transformation Director at Aster Group.
We looked at the different ways employers are supporting older and younger workers to address issues arising from an aging workforce. Action includes opportunities to utilise older workers skills and experience, innovative apprenticeship programmes to address concerns about the talent pipeline, and more flexible working for employees with caring responsibilities.
