Due to popular demand, we have put together the collection of the TUPE webinars. TUPE came into force from 1 February 1982 and has spent the last 40 years giving People professionals (and employment lawyers!) lots to talk about.
We hope that you find these useful and help with anything TUPE related.
TUPE – a Strategic View
In this session looked at how the history of TUPE and key cases have shaped the TUPE landscape today, and how best practice has evolved. This session was perfect for anyone working on the TUPE "coalface".
TUPE – Back to Basics
This session went back to basics on TUPE and serve as a refresher. This is perfect for anyone new to TUPE, or anyone in need of a reminder of the key legal principles and risks when handling or planning for a TUPE transfer.
TUPE for Dealmakers
Chaired by special guest, Alison Chivers, partner in our Corporate department, this session focused on the key commercial aspects and how it affects deals and transactions across a range of sectors. This session will be ideal for anyone who needs a broader commercial view of TUPE, including those in Business Development, Strategic People and HR professionals, Procurement professionals and any Deal Makers!
TUPE and Procurement
Our last TUPEfest session was aimed at anyone who needs to understand how TUPE fits into any form of procurement process, in particular People, BD and Procurement professionals. We were joined by another special guest, Rebecca Rees, partner specialising in public procurement, and we got the commercial and strategic issues that come up when handling TUPE from a client, incumbent and bidder perspective.
