Readers may be aware that Amazon are in the process of electrifying their entire fleet of vehicles. We have been instructed to deal with the documentation of this strategy on behalf of many of our landlord / investor clients. No one-size-fits-all in this respect and documentation has ranged from surrenders of part of Amazon lease(s) (to accommodate substation leases) to Licences for distribution switch boards to new EV leases.
It is worth taking early advice around the best way to achieve your tenant's requirements if this becomes relevant in the context of EV charging and tenants' increased power requirements.
