September is a great time to reflect and plan!  We'd love to see you at our remaining sessions, aimed at helping you to supercharge your inclusion strategy and practices for the months ahead.

10 September – Inclusive recruitment

For our first session, we took a deep-dive into the topic of inclusive recruitment. We discussed what inclusive recruitment looks like in practice and how to embed inclusivity at the heart of day to day processes and culture. Danielle Ingham and Ellie Clot were joined by guest speakers Wayne Bennett, Founder and CEO of Made4Tech Global and Adrian Walcott, Managing Director of Brands with Values, to share their insights and experiences. 

Wayne Bennett is a Founder and Director of Made4Tech Global, a technology recruitment consultancy specialising in recruiting professionals within the Technology, Business Change & Transformation markets. Whilst recruiting within the Technology space, Wayne has witnessed the change within the industry, which has encouraged him to advocate for female and diverse leadership and advise businesses on effective inclusion strategies in his role.

Brands with Values are on a mission to train HR Leaders & Culture Change Consultants on new way to decode culture and drive meaningful change, whilst also helping organisations with a revolutionary approach to creating Mission, vision and values using our own Tech: The Culture Decoder. 17 September - Inclusive leadership and management

In our second session, Danielle Ingham and John Turnbull was joined by Rachel Credido, Chief Innovation Officer at Aster Group UK, and Teresa Boughey, Founder and CEO of Jungle HR, for a fascinating discussion on inclusive leadership and management. We discussed what truly inclusive leadership looks and feels like, why it matters and how you can help your organisation to embrace a change in management culture and practices.

24 September - Inclusive pay, leave and benefits

In our third session, Danielle Ingham and Jake Wilkie were joined by Sue Knowles from Costco Wholesale UK for a practical discussion on ways to make pay, leave and benefits more inclusive. Sue shared insights from her years of experience leading Costco's HR function in the UK and we explored together how to think more creatively around pay, leave and benefits to support employees' needs at different stages in their lives.

1 October - Inclusive Learning and Development

Danielle Ingham and Laura Welchew were joined by Gera Patel, Partner at Campbell Tickell and John Worrall, Head of Learning & Development at Trowers & Hamlins, to explore how learning and development can become a more inclusive and intentional experience. We discussed ways to think differently around career development to take account of both the employee journey and future succession planning, as well as initiatives that can help to support the needs of different groups and individuals within the workplace.
