International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has recruited senior lawyer Thomas Yun to help drive future growth in the Trowers & Hamlins Korea desk.

Thomas is an infrastructure specialist, experienced in both contentious and non-contentious matters both from his time in Korea and in the Middle East.

Thomas will be based in the Trowers & Hamlins Dubai office and will be working closely with partner Abdulhaq Mohammed as he takes forward our strategy for Asia. Thomas has expansive knowledge of the Korean legal market both in-house and private practice.

He joins Trowers from Al Tamimi & Company. Prior to this, he worked at leading Korean firm Yulchon LLC, having also spent time in London at another international firm.

International Managing Partner at Trowers & Hamlins, Jeremy Ingham commented:

"Thomas brings with him a wealth of experience and will be a crucial addition to our Korea desk as it continues to grow. His knowledge of the Korean market will be of great value as we seek to expand our client offering further in the region and in Southeast Asia."

Thomas added:

"This is an exciting time to be joining Trowers & Hamlins and to be part of the growth of both the Korea desk and the international team as a whole. I look forward to contributing to further growth and helping to enhance our services for Korean clients."
