Trowers & Hamlins is delighted to welcome its first ever interns as part of the firm's involvement with the '10,000 Interns Foundation'
The 10,000 Interns Foundation champions underrepresented talent across a vast range of industries, with significant engagement in the legal sector, and this summer we are partnering with them on their 10,000 Black Interns programme.
The four successful interns completed a comprehensive selection process, mirroring that of the firm's Summer Vacation Scheme process, and they joined us earlier this week to start their six-week programme.
During their time with us, the interns will work with three different departments to experience a broad range of the work we do at Trowers. They'll also benefit from a number of structured sessions to give them insights into the firm and assist with their technical and business skills.
Early Talent Manager, Rachel Chapman, commented:
"At Trowers we are committed to ensuring that access to the legal sector is available to all, which is why we are delighted to be taking part in the 10,000 Black Interns programme for the first time. Through the programme the interns will be able to gain a deeper understanding of how our business operates and what it is like to work in a law firm. Colleagues and I look forward to seeing our interns in the office and working with them over the summer. Welcome Ashley, Emily, Nimi and Suad!"
