Liz Mulley


Liz is a Managing Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation team specialising in commercial and civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution including mediation. 

She acts for both private and public sector clients in relation to domestic and international disputes across a variety of sectors including acting for businesses, charities, councils, housing associations and private individuals including trustees, executors and beneficiaries.

In particular, Liz has extensive experience in dealing with civil fraud and cyber response disputes and investigations. Her work is often complex and sensitive in nature emanating from her cases involving fraud and dishonesty. She takes time to understand her client's needs to provide clear strategic advice on the way forward with a particular focus on resolving disputes in a commercial manner.

Liz also specialises in advising clients on fraud and cyber risk management, in particular, preparing financial crime policies and providing board and staff training to clients in these areas. She also regularly speaks at conferences and on webinars on the subject of fraud and cyber risk management.

Liz has also been involved in a range of different areas of litigation and alternative dispute resolution including high value contractual disputes, trusts and contested probate and group action litigation as well as available funding options for clients. 

Liz is ranked as an Associate to Watch in Chambers and Legal 500 has recognised her as being "outstanding" (2022).
