Harvey Lavis


Harvey is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Department based in Exeter specialising in Insolvency, Restructuring and Commercial Litigation. 

He is involved in a variety of matters including insolvency and other litigation to pre-pack Administration transactions.

Harvey has been involved in a range of matters, including those pursued in the County Court, High Court and ADGM. He regularly advises on matters relating to the Insolvency Act 1986 and Insolvency Rules, acting on behalf of office-holders, directors and creditors.

Harvey facilitates the appointment of Administrators on behalf of companies, directors and floating charge holders.

Harvey also advises on a range of matters relating to contractual disputes and personal guarantees.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Harvey was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. For 7 years he specialised in International disputes before joining the Commercial Litigation Department.

Harvey is a committee member of the Turnaround Management Association "NextGen" committee in the South West.
