Hilary Pitts


Hilary has vast experience in the real estate sector, acting for housing associations and developers. She is ranked as a Leading Individual in both Legal 500 and Chambers.

Hilary qualified in 2006 after a previous career in banking. She is also a qualified Company Secretary. Coming from a business background, means Hilary can bring a broad business understanding to her work.

In addition to acting on site acquisitions, Hilary has experience in setting up site schemes for both open market and shared ownership sales (included other discounted model sales). In acting for housing associations, she has also been involved in large reorganisation transactions putting together teams to advise on governance, tenancy, employment and disposal issues.

Hilary has experience acting on inter alia: planning agreements; infrastructure agreements; joint ventures; disposal and purchase of both tenanted and untenanted properties; auction sales; option agreements; development agreements; overage agreements; right to buy/acquire; title investigations and reports.
