Jasmine Ratta

Jasmine advises both private and public sector clients. She specialises exclusively in planning related matters and has varied experience advising local authorities, housing associations, government bodies and developers on complex, well publicised matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Recent work includes advising a developer on a large energy from waste project in addition to negotiating a complex section 106 agreement concerning a large mixed development which will provide over 700 residential units. Further, Jasmine is currently advising a local authority on various technical legal challenges as they look to compulsorily acquire land in connection with a Government designated Enterprise Zone.

Jasmine has successfully appealed the refusal of planning permission for a new secondary school near Gloucester in addition to successfully defending planning enforcement actions and therefore aims to assist clients in accomplishing their commercial objectives. She enjoys advising on all aspects of the planning system, including enforcement, compulsory purchase, highways and community infrastructure levy matters.

Jasmine qualified with the firm in September 2017, having trained in the firm's London and Dubai offices. She is based in our London office.
