Bryce Siu
Bryce is an Australian-qualified corporate and commercial lawyer based in the firm's Abu Dhabi office, with experience advising on a broad range of technology matters across the Middle East and abroad.
With a strong grounding in technology, media and telecommunications, Bryce has considerable experience advising clients on nuanced matters relating to platform supply agreements, contract negotiation, data privacy and emerging technology development and commercialisation.
Bryce's current experience and focus is on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, internet-of-things, digital trust and distributed ledger technologies. He is a published contributor to an international law journal on artificial intelligence regulations and has also previously served as a research assistant specialising in blockchain regulations.
He has particular experience in a variety of complex private and public matters, including:
- artificial intelligence development and commercialisation;
- software and hardware procurement, maintenance and support;
- website/platform terms and conditions;
- data protection and data breach management; and
- intellectual property licensing.
He also assists clients with regulatory compliance and reporting matters with respect to digital, data and telecommunications authorities.
Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins, Bryce was with several leading national and international firms in Australia, servicing both domestic and international clients located in Asia and the Middle East.
