Maria Dunn


Maria is a Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. 

She has a varied practice and experience in dealing with a range of disputes on behalf of companies, charitable organisations and individuals. She acts for clients across a range of sectors, pursuing and defending litigation in the County Court and High Court, is experienced in advising on the alternative resolution of disputes, including mediation.

Maria is a member of Trowers & Hamlins' Health and Social Care group and has a particular interest and developing specialism in disputes and regulatory matters affecting this sector, including:

  • Mental capacity issues and contentious Court of Protection proceedings;
  • CQC regulatory matters;
  • Contractual disputes between local authority and NHS commissioners, and care providers;
  • Adult safeguarding issues;
  • Inquests; and
  • Data protection and information law.
